Quilt Market- Salt Lake City Style

If you’ve been following this blog, then you know that last week was the Spring Quilt Market, an exhausting yet exciting week for us, and even though we’ve been back home for a few days, we’re STILL trying to catch up! Salt Lake City was VERY cool and we have LOTS of fun stuff to share with you, but in the meantime, I thought you might enjoy these two short videos.

We had an EXCELLENT booth position once again… on the front row, a mere 30 feet or so from the entrance. (This was in fact the subject of some tongue-in-cheek speculation on the part of several exhibitors… so check it out! 🙂

And since I had a video camera for the first time at this Market, I thought I might take you on a quick end-to-end walk (a la video) down one of the lengthwise rows just to give you a little feel for the massive scope of this Market Floor. I really wish you all could go yourselves, but since you can’t…here’s a little taste!

So… what do you think of our Spring Market Booth? – As usual, we’ve got a few changes in mind for Fall and I’ve got much more to share with you in the coming days, so stay tuned!

  3. What fun, Kathy! I enjoyed the walk with you…thank you! I know that Market is a TON of work for all of you but I would love to go just once to see it. This was an enjoyable preview!

  4. Thanks for the comments! I heard that this was the biggest Spring Market ever, and that every single booth space was sold out. It’s a beautiful and inspiring place to walk through and I wish you could ALL go!

  5. Great spot for your booth!! How does the size of this market compare to the Houston Quilt Market? I’ve been to that one and it’s HUGE, so if this is even close . . . or bigger, wow! Thanks for the videos!

  6. Thanks for commenting Frances.
I would say that the number of booths for this Spring Market was comparable to the Houston show, but, the foot traffic (customer participation) was considerably less than Houston, it always is for the Spring market.

  8. thank you for the great vid. your stall looks fabulous, as do your bags –
as always. i’m hoping to share a stall in the craft tent at the garlic
