Many of you have inquired as to how Joba is progressing. In particular, you've asked how he and Jeter getting along, and if he is showing interest in the sewing business, and in becoming a "Studio Cat"? Well let me just say, that Jeter has been a most excellent mentor for Joba. He has put aside his jealousy, (for the most part), and taken a personal interest in Joba's progress. He's not only taught him the finer points about sewing, but also, and maybe more importantly, he's taught him how to get along in this world, as a cat, and as a friend. All of these things can be simply summed up as "Jeter's Rules",emphasis on Jeter RULES!! (as always) Check it out...

Jeter's Rules for Becoming a "StudioCat".

#1- Know your sewing machine inside & out.

#2- Text editing is a boring but necessary thing.

#3- Stay up to date with current events.

#4- Deadlines can seem like a monkey on your back.

#5- It's polite to let others go first.

#6- On the other hand- Nothing improves a meal more than good company!

#7- Even newcomers can have good ideas, so don't be afraid to point out a problem!

#8- It's only natural to be scared of new things.

#9- Take time to play!

#10- Never miss an opportunity to nap.

#11- Be observant.

#12- Find comfort in uncomfortable situations.

#13- Working with computers can be very frustrating.

#14- There's no shame in giving up & asking for help.

#15- We all need a shoulder to cry on.

#16- Talk about your problems, don't keep them bottled up inside.

#17- A good friend is there when you're down.

#18- Friends are willing to overlook occasional bad behavior.

And finally Rule #19- Jeter is in charge, and if in doubt, refer to Rule #19.
