Fabric
Selection
Use most types of fabrics, including quilter's cottons, lightweight denims, linens, pinwale corduroys and other lightweight fabrics for the Purse Sides. Fabrics with a silky finish are a fun alternative as well. DO NOT choose fabrics with ANY stiffness or bulkiness, such as heavier weight denims, trigger, tapestry or wider-wale corduroys.
Fabric needs:
Exterior Fabric- (for purse sides)- 3/8 yd.
Exterior Contrast Fabric- (for pockets)- 1/4 yd.
Lining- 1/2 yd.
Thermofleece- 3/8 yd.
Sewing Supplies and Notions
1/2"wide Cotton Twill Tape- 4.5 yd.
Double-fold Bias Tape- 2 yd.
4- 8" Nylon Zippers (optional- for Zippered Pockets only)
Double-Fold Bias Tape- 1 yd. (optional- for trimming pockets only)
