This bag features an EXTERIOR cell phone pocket. Your phone will always be easy to hear, and more importantly, within easy reach! There's an interior zippered for secure storage as well as a large and roomy exterior pocket, hidden by the flap.
There are directions and layouts for 2 distinctive flaps as well as a no-flap option. All views incluse a zippered top closure. Even if you drop your purse, the contents will remain safely inside!

Fabric
Selection
Use a fabric with some stiffness and body for the purse sides, exterior front and zipper panels. Fabrics such as lightweight denim, trigger and even upholstery fabrics do quite nicely.
The exterior purse back, pocket and flap can be virtually any type of fabric and any COMBINATION of fabrics. You can try coordinating these with the purse sides, or try a complete CONTRAST for some SIZZLE!
Sewing Supplies and Notions Fabric needs:
Exterior fabric, (with stiffness), 1/2 yd.
Exterior Contrasting Fabric, 1/3 yd.
Lining, (lightweight cotton), 1/2 yd.
Thermofleece, 1/2 yd.
Fusible Interfacing, 1/4 yd.
Notions:
1- 7" nylon zipper
1- 9" nylon zipper
4 1/2 yd.- Double Fold Bias Tape
38"- 1" wide Cotton Webbing
2- 8" plastic Cable ties(available in hardware stores)
